Keeping Rabbits

Keeping Rabbits

Hey guys, welcome back to the blog hope you are enjoying it. I was thinking the other day about all my hobbies and one of my favourite but least attended to would be keeping my rabbit. I only have one called Smokey, unfortunately he couldn’t have any friends due to an anger management issue. I want to tell a rather disturbing but funny story. About 5 years ago my girlfriend at the time had a rabbit called Snowy, it was a beautiful perfect white rabbit (this is where I started to love rabbits). Her rabbit was looking all depressed and not eating too much and everything we tried just wasn’t working. So we started looking into getting Snowy a friend but as we were reading online there was more fighting and territorial wars going off than happiness and peace.

Anyway after a lot of thought we had decided to get a guinea pig instead, it started off all sweet the rabbit was eating happy again, the guinea pig was eating happy again, but then 2 weeks later dead. We assumed that the guinea pig was sick. So we got another. After 2 weeks the same thing happened again and I was a little confused and kind of distort at the same time, these guinea pigs are dropping like flies. I thought this was the end, then the missed walks through the door with another one, I was just about going crazy. We kept a very close eye on the guinea pig for the next week. We walked past the cage and the guinea pig was shaking in the corner, as you would we took her out and visited the vet. Well it was a disturbing find, it turns out that the rabbit Snowy had only been trying to have some form of intercourse with the guinea pig and breaking their backs. Just to keep you all going through the day J.
